システム・画像情報科学研究室の研究内容

　脳は構成的，機能的にも非常に複雑なシステムです． ボトムアップ的には，最近の生理学的研究により，脳機能の分子レベルでの説明が可能になって来ました． また，トップダウン的には，情報科学分野の研究者らにより，ヒトの脳機能を模擬した多くの情報処理モデルが提案されています．
　当研究室では，ヒトの脳の持つ優れた情報処理メカニズムを構成的，機能的に解明し， それを基に次世代の脳型情報処理システム（ブレインコンピューティングシステム）の構築を新たな計算論的立場から目指しています．
